Crafted with Care: A Backstory of Tradition and Skill
At Sinclair Handmade Woodworks, every piece begins with a story rooted in craftsmanship passed down through generations. What started as a young boy learning alongside his grandfather has grown into a passion for creating durable, meaningful woodwork designed to last and be part of your home for years to come.
At Sinclair Handmade Woodworks, every piece starts with a story—and for Dalton, that story began at a young age working alongside his grandfather. From learning the basics of sanding and wood burning to developing the skill to turn raw blocks of wood into detailed pieces like handcrafted pens and coat racks, woodworking has always been more than just a hobby—it’s a craft passed down through generations. Now at 32, Dalton continues that tradition while raising his five boys and working full-time as a construction estimator. What started as a childhood passion has grown into something more—a way to create, unwind, and build something meaningful outside of the daily routine. Dalton is known not just for his craftsmanship, but for his personality. He has a way of making people laugh, lifting spirits, and bringing a sense of warmth into everything he does—and that same energy carries into every piece he creates. Today, Sinclair Handmade Woodworks is a family effort. While Dalton leads the builds, his partner works alongside him—helping with engraving, staining, and bringing each piece to life with attention to detail and care. Together, they create handcrafted wood pieces designed to last, to be used, and to be part of your home for years to come.

Sinclair Handmade Woodworks is more than just a business to us — it is something we have built together through love, trust, hard work, and a shared dream.
Over the past two years, our relationship has grown into a true partnership, both in life and in business. What began as Dalton’s lifelong passion for woodworking slowly became a dream we decided to pursue together — turning late nights, ideas, creativity, and determination into something meaningful that we could call our own.
Through every challenge, new opportunity, and long day, we have continued to lean on one another and grow stronger together. This business exists because of the support, encouragement, and belief we have in each other. From building products by hand to managing the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything moving, every part of Sinclair Handmade Woodworks reflects the teamwork and love we pour into it daily.
As an engaged couple and growing family, our goal has always been to create more than just handcrafted wood products. We want to build something lasting — something our children can be proud of, something that brings warmth into people’s homes, and something rooted in passion, faith, family, and craftsmanship.
Every order placed with us supports not only a small business, but a dream we are building side by side from the ground up. For that, we are endlessly grateful.
